Ford’s vehicles on display

All four Ford nameplates available in Thailand, including 16 models, will be on display, in a setting that reflects each of the vehicle's unique personality. A life exhibition gallery will be staged to emphasize the benefits of each model.

Ford Ranger Zone:

Highlight: Ford Ranger Hi-Rider

The full line of Ford Ranger Hi-Rider pickups will be on display, including the 2.5 XLS Open Cab, which won the “Car of the Year – Best High Lifted Pickup 2500 cc” award at the Show, and the 2.5 XLT Double Cab with 5-speed automatic transmission

The Ford Ranger Hi-Rider 4x2 comes with an innovative and market-first 5-speed automatic transmission, providing continuous acceleration which results in better fuel efficiency. The pickup is equipped with a Limited Slip and all-terrain tires, which enhance its road holding capability, especially off-road driving conditions that no other 4x2 vehicle could handle. A rear stabilizer bar also helps improve road holding capability, especially on sharp curves at higher speeds or driving on rugged roads. Other safety equipment in the Hi-Rider includes safety air bags, ABS, EBD and G-sensor.

Other Ford Ranger families joining the event are the Ford Ranger Cross Country, which won last year's Asia Cross Country Rally, and the Ford Ranger Double Cab with 5-speed automatic transmission.

In this zone, there will be games for customers to best experience the vehicle's key benefits, such as its superior torque plus continuous acceleration and fuel economy.

Ford Focus Zone:

Highlight: Unrivaled excitement with the 'Ford Focus WRC Simulator'

The Ford Focus WRC Simulator, which Ford showcases around the world during the auto industry's biggest events, was imported from the UK especially for the Thai public to enjoy during the Bangkok Motor Show. The built-in simulator allows willing and eager volunteers to sit in the driver's seat of the Ford Focus WRC car and experience, first-hand, the excitement of professional WRC racing .

The Ford Focus WRC Simulator uses a real Ford Focus performance car - winner of the World Rally Championship 2006 - and is decorated with a rear spoiler and racing stripes. It's also equipped with Recaro seats, a safety roll bar, titanium suspension and light-weighted but very strong door panels, exactly the same as the real thing.

During the Show, Ford will organize the "Ford Focus WRC Challenge," with a limited number of customers eligible to participate. Customers who fill out a provided application form will have the opportunity to compete for each day's highest score. Daily winners will compete on the final day of the Show for the grand prize of a Sony Play Station together with an opportunity drive a Ford Focus free for one week. Other runners-up will receive various special prizes including sports shoes from Puma’s motor sport collection and all finalists will get a Ford Focus racer jacket.

In addition,Ford Thailand will bring Ford Focus, the green passenger car that combines both design and performance, on show. Ford Focus is the market-first passenger car that can run on gasohol with up to 20% mix of ethanol without additional engine modification. The stylish passenger car is, therefore, a showcase of the green car that best match the 28 th Bangkok International Motor Show’s theme of “Drive thru the Nature”. Visitors at Ford Stand will also witness the 5-door Ford Focus which won the “Car of the Year – Best Hatchback under 2000 cc” title from the Motor Show Organizer. To also emphasize the Ford Focus outstanding design, Ford invites customers to play fun games and win the opportunity to take a photo for a mock-up Elle magazine cover.

Ford SUV Zone:

Ford Escape : The Escape zone around Ford’s leading SUV will include a display of Ford Escape, which can also run on gasohol with up to 20% ethanol mix, and various activities that highlight the freedom of life, such as taking photos with extreme adventure scenes in the background, and adventure postcards that can be sent directly to anyone customers wish.

Ford Everest : The recently launched 7-seat family SUV will make its presence in this warm and colorful family corner, full of fun activities for all family members.

For the Customer Services Zone, Ford admirers can enjoy shopping vast selection of Ford merchandising items and we also display a wide range of accessories products, covering our major makes & models. Special accessories package are also offered.

In this zone, Ford introduces two new services that guarantee our customers’ satisfaction that “Make Every Day Exciting”.

Ford Solutions:
Officially launched to public at the event is the Ford Solutions which offers the largest variety of programs of any extended-warranty service in the Thai market, giving Ford customers’ peace of mind and worry-free driving. Each program is designed to provide world-class coverage to customers. Ford Solutions customers are guaranteed authentic Ford spare parts, maintenance performed by certified Ford technicians, and the convenience of one-stop service.

Ford Solutions is comprised of four programs, including “Ford Premium Protection Plus”, offering warranty coverage up to 5-years/140,000 k.m. and 8,000 parts; “Ford Safe Pack Protection Plus”, offering warranty coverage up to 5-years/200,000 k.m. for Ford Ranger pickups and 5-years/140,000 k.m. (depending on which arrives first) for other nameplates and covering four key mechanical systems; “Ford Roadside Assistance”, providing 24-hour emergency roadside service nationwide; and “Ford Solutions Insurance”, providing first-class insurance with repairs done using genuine Ford parts by Ford certified/experienced technicians with one-year warranty certification .

“Ford Active”
Ford Active is a new customer relationship management program providing various benefits for Ford new and existing customers through reward mechanism. Ford is cooperating with a number of businesses to provide special offers and discount from hundreds of participating stores and partners in the areas of dining, traveling, spa and entertainment. Ford customers will also receive special invitation to join an event or activities created exclusively for Ford Active customers.
