Rage Speedway Pavement Series Wraps Things Up With The MobSteel Nationals At Chapel Hill
Nearly 300 entries made up the final race of the Rage Kart Speedway Pavement Series. As always the setting was beautiful as track hosts Tom Scharf and Mike Friel welcomed everyone for the event at Chapel Hill Raceway.
For Bob Baker it was a triple header weekend winning Briggs Lite, Briggs Medium, and also taking the money in the Briggs & Stratton Pro Race. Chase Dowling was the winner of both the Jr. 1 Heavy and the Jr. 1 Champ Lite. Matt Kelchlin took home the honors in both Briggs Heavy and Raptor 370. Tyler Strickland also enjoyed a great weekend bringing home the gold in Jr. Champ Heavy and Jr. Champ Raptor.
This wraps up the season for the series. Once the divisional results are computed the final standings will be posted. Visit www.worldkarting.com for more information and the upcoming 2008 race schedule. For complete results from Chapel Hill click here.
