SAN FRANCISCO NATIVE TOWNSEND BELL TO DISPLAY COW-MILKING SKILLS AT INFINEON RACEWAY

Local IndyCar Driver Ready to Create Special Vintage California Milk for Indy 500

IndyCar® Series driver and San Francisco native Townsend Bell will come to Infineon Raceway to not only preview the upcoming Indianapolis 500 and the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County, Aug. 22-24, at Infineon Raceway, but he will also display his cow-milking skills.

WHEN:

Wednesday, April 30, Infineon Raceway Main Offices. The event will begin at 1 p.m. on the back patio.

CALIFORNIA MILK FOR CALIFORNIA DRIVER:

Bell, currently the only California driver entered in the Indy 500, will trade in his helmet and race gloves for a stool and cow from nearby Mulas Dairy Company in Sonoma.

Bell will produce some vintage California milk, complete with a one-of-a-kind Townsend Bell label. Bell can take this milk to Indianapolis, in the event he wins the prestigious race on Sunday, May 25, for a proper California Celebration. Bell will receive some assistance in the cow milking from his 4-year-old son, Jaxon.

MEDIA:

Bell will be available to the media following the event. Bio sheets, as well as b-roll, will also be available.

ABOUT BELL:

Bell, who competes for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing on the IndyCar circuit, took 10th place at Twin Ring Motegi in Japan on April 20. He has competed in 14 IndyCar Series events since 2004, with a personal-best finish of fourth at Nashville in 2004. He won the 2001 championship for the Indy Lights Series.
