FORMULA SAE DYNAMIC COMPETITION SET FOR AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY JUNE 27-28

82 University Teams From Nine Countries Entered
Formula SAE West, an educational competition in the SAE Collegiate Design Series
82 university teams from Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, U.S. and Venezuela come together for the final event in the 2008 SAE Collegiate Design Series, a winner of the National Science Foundation Public Service Award. In Formula SAE competition, students design, build and compete with small formula-style racing cars. The restrictions on the car frame and engine are limited so that the knowledge, creativity and imagination of the team members are challenged.

Friday, June 27, dynamic testing starts at 8 a.m.
Saturday, June 28, Endurance Event, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
