Kawasaki’s Henry Wiles Tallies Third Win of the Year in Springfield

Coming off a win in Peoria just two weeks before, Wiles was dominant in both his eight-lap heat race and 25-lap main event rides. Since there was a red flag during his heat race, he was forced to line-up on the outside of the starting line. He got a great jump and led the entire race.

“I knew the start was going to be critical since I was lined up on the outside, “ said Wiles. “I actually got a good start and put my head down. I didn’t even know how far in front I was until I looked back at the checkered flag.”

Most Manufacturer Wins!
With the win in Springfield, Kawasaki became the 2008 AMA GNC Singles Series Winn ingest manufacturer. In six races, Wiles brought his Jones Brothers Racing Kawasaki KX450F across the checkered for three wins.
