Race Fans Can Meet Tony Kanaan, Graham Rahal with IndyCar Platinum Pass

Infineon Raceway
SONOMA, Calif. (Aug. 7, 2009)

Race fans can get up-close and personal with IndyCar® Series drivers Tony Kanaan and Graham Rahal with the Platinum Pass for the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma, Aug. 21-23. It’s all part of Infineon Raceway’s efforts to bring fans closer than ever to their favorite drivers during the 2009 racing season.

The highlight of this package is a 20-minute question-and-answer session with Kanaan and Rahal on race day, Sunday, Aug. 23. This exclusive session is only open to Platinum Pass members.

This deluxe package costs just $195 and includes:

· Q&A session with Kanaan and Rahal on Sunday, Aug. 23.

· Autographed hero card from each driver

· Full-event weekend pass (your choice of seats)

· Weekend Garage Pass

· Premium parking pass

Kanaan and Rahal are certainly two of the most recognizable faces in the open-wheel series. Kanaan, the 2004 IndyCar Series champion, won the inaugural IndyCar Series event at Infineon Raceway in 2005, while Rahal, son of legendary driver Bobby Rahal, became the youngest winner in open-wheel history (19 years old) when he took the checkers in 2008 in St. Petersburg (Fla.). Rahal has already captured two poles this season.

The Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma marks the series’ fifth consecutive visit to the Sonoma Valley, and will also feature the Firestone Indy Lights Series, Historic Grand Prix and Formula DRIFT main events.

For more information and to purchase your Platinum Pass today, call 800-870-RACE or visit www.infineonraceway.com/indy.
