Hard to belive - KINI is 50!
KTM-Sportmotorcycles AG,
Mattighofen, Austria
He's a hero, not just in Austria and not just for his amazing sporting prowess on two wheels! Heinz Kinigadner is celebrating his 50th birthday and KTM's entire international Orange family unites to wish him all the best on this significant day.
"Kini", as he is very affectionately known, is a fine example of someone who lives his life to the full, has achieved and continues to achieve a great deal and above all, is respected and liked far beyond the borders of his own country. Born in the Austrian Tyrol in 1960, Heinz became a national hero and a household name in the 1980s when he did what no other Austrian had done before him on the international motocross racing circuit - seven individual victories and two 250 cc world championship titles in 1984 and 1985 riding orange for the KTM Racing Team. Following the completion of his motocross career he then competed in offroad races, including the legendary Dakar Rally.
Anyone who is privileged to know Kini recognises that he is not only a great guy; he is also one of those rare individuals with outstanding character.
Kini also continues his bond with racing and KTM in his role as the company's motorsport consultant, where he is a super role model for all the members of the KTM Factory Teams. Heinz also runs a successful business with the Kini shop and has his own collection of Kini brand of action and style wear and accessories.
Happy Birthday Kini from the entire KTM family! We salute you for your achievements, your spirit and your big heart!
