Chevrolet Unveils New Midget Racing Engine
Tony Stewart Racing to Introduce All-New Chevy Engine in USAC National Midget Car Series
INDIANAPOLIS
Chevrolet's all-new Midget racing engine was unveiled today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway by GM representatives and United States Auto Club (USAC) team owner Tony Stewart. Designed by GM Racing specifically for the USAC National Midget Car Series, the new purpose-built, four-cylinder Chevrolet racing engine will initially power Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) drivers Tracy Hines and Levi Jones in upcoming events. The new Chevy Midget engine will be available to all USAC competitors through independent engine builders.

Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Levi Jones and Tracy Hines will enter this weekend’s USAC National Sprint Car Series doubleheader riding the momentum of a victory and top-five finish at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway last Saturday. The duo will head to Bloomington (Ind.) Speedway on Friday, then Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday.

Tony Stewart Racing, Kinser Set to Tackle High Banks of US 36 Raceway, Knoxville Raceway

Tony Stewart Racing’s Kraig Kinser and the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series travel to two very different race tracks this weekend. But they all have the same goal – taking the checkered flag in first place at both tracks. The WoO Sprint Series teams are also anxious to get back into the swing of things after nine of the first 15 scheduled events this season have been canceled or postponed due to weather.

Speedway this Saturday as the USAC National Sprint Car Series championship battle heats up in the month of May. The event marks the first time in series history that its fire-breathing machines have taken to the quarter-mile bullring.

Holding their own as the last truly nomadic Sprint car racing series, the Outlaws will travel to Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., and the legendary Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway this weekend for their first long haul since heading out west in February.

Jones, Hines and Chevy Return For Second Attempt At Winchester Speedway’s USAC Sprint Series Event
INDIANAPOLIS (April 22, 2008)
Tony Stewart Racing’s Levi Jones and Tracy Hines were at the track, in their cars and ready to push off for the start of the 2008 USAC National Sprint Car Series event at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway last Sunday but, once again, Mother Nature had different plans for the team and the series. Battling intermittent showers for much of the day, they finally decided to try it again at the half-mile paved oval this Sunday.

Tony Stewart Foundation To Sponsor Team In USAC Benevolent Fund Go-Kart Challenge

The Tony Stewart Foundation (TSF) will sponsor the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) team in the 12th Annual “Fun at Fastimes” endurance go-kart race Saturday (March 15). All proceeds benefit the USAC Benevolent Foundation, which provides assistance to USAC drivers and families in need of emergency financial assistance.
