DTM Nürburgring: 1-2-3-4 Success for the AMG Mercedes C-Class

Bernd Schneider (Genuine Parts AMG Mercedes C-Class) won the seventh round of the 2008 DTM at the Nürburgring. After 43 laps in changeable weather conditions, Schneider – starting sixth - crossed the finish line 5.7sec ahead of Paul Di Resta (AMG Mercedes C-Class) who had qualified 12th. Jamie Green (Salzgitter AMG Mercedes C-Class) in third and Gary Paffett with last year’s stern AMG Mercedes C-Class completed the quadruple success for the AMG Mercedes C-Class.

Audi driver Timo Scheider defends DTM lead

With a fifth-place finish Audi driver Timo Scheider defended his overall lead in the DTM. However, a tyre choice that failed to work out deprived Audi of a possible fourth victory of the season in the Eifel.

Audi again well positioned at Nürburgring

Title defender Audi is again well positioned for the DTM’s seventh race of the season. The DTM weekend at the Nürburgring started with a best time set by Audi. In the second test in the afternoon the new Audi A4 DTM cars were part of the action at the very front of the field in changing track conditions as well.

1,000 garage employees from the Western Region will turn the DTM race at the Nürburgring into a home race for Audi. Another Audi one-two-three-four win at Zandvoort

Audi showed a dominant performance at the sixth DTM round at Zandvoort and, like last year, celebrated a one-two-three-four victory in the Netherlands. It was the new Audi A4 DTM’s best result so far and Audi’s 45th victory in the DTM. One day before his 30th birthday, title defender Mattias Ekström celebrated his second exploit of the season, after winning the season opener at Hockenheim. Following the twelfth DTM triumph of his career, the two-time champion is now the best Audi driver in DTM history.

Moritz Bleibtreu: “A completely different world”
