Hauenstein & Gillman Voted into F1 "Lap Of Honor" Class of '10

The UIM F1 H2O World Championship for powerboating has it's second “Lap of Honor” recipients for 2010. Fred Hauenstein, a tireless ambassador and true builder of the sport for almost 50 years, along with four time World Champion Scott Gillman, winner of 23 races in just 89 starts, have been elected into the UIM F1 H2O Hall Of Fame for 2010 after a three month long voting process involving race fans and journalists throughout the world taking part in the decision making.

The recently completed 8th Grand Prix of Russia in St. Petersburg witnessed by the tens of thousands of fans along the Neva River saw five of the worlds most talented drivers battle for the final three podium positions in a titanic struggle during the season's only night event. There was some unbelievable unseen drama going on out on the 2.014 kilometer circuit during the race that most people didn't notice at the time!

Mad Crocs Tamed The Neva

Both Red Bull and Mad Croc are energy drinks and after this exhilarating 42 lap battle it was Sami Selio and his team partner Alex Carella who completed a magnificent 1-2 leaving all rival trailing in their wake.
