Forty lucky race fans not only got to mingle with top stars from the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series on Saturday, but they also supported a great cause at the sold-out 6th annual NHRA Tour de Charity at the Infineon Raceway Karting Center

WKA Partners With Kids Racing For Kids
Kids Racing for Kids and the World Karting Association have developed a partnership for the 2008 George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda to help promote karting while giving back to children in need. A total of $20,000 will be donated to children’s shelters during the 2008 racing season thanks to Kids Racing for Kids.

PRI Trade Show Prepares For Second Annual Snap-On Stars Of Karting All-Star Race
With the success of the inaugural All-star karting event, which ran under wet conditions at the 2006 PRI Trade Show and saw former Indy 500 Champion Buddy Rice take the win, race promoters and PRI officials have plans well underway for this year’s race, to be held Thursday night, Dec. 6, 2007.

Robert Stout Grabs two Poles and Two Podiums!
Greenwood, Indiana
Lucas Oil Indy Karting Series Greenwood Grand Prix
The Lucas Oil IKS series brought another exciting karting event to the general public this time in Greenwood Indiana a southern suburb of Indianapolis. The weather was nice but very hot for September with the temperatures in the mid 90’s. Robert Stout and his Lucas Oil #457 MKP Birel Hotlicks Special had his tank full of Torco race fuel, the kart had been meticulously prepared by Super Tuner Todd Bellew and Stout was ready to take the NeWave Televisions sponsored machine to the front of a stacked field.

Rage Speedway Pavement Series Wraps Things Up With The MobSteel Nationals At Chapel Hill
Nearly 300 entries made up the final race of the Rage Kart Speedway Pavement Series. As always the setting was beautiful as track hosts Tom Scharf and Mike Friel welcomed everyone for the event at Chapel Hill Raceway.

Dunlop Tire Road Race Series Makes Stop at New Hampshire
The Dunlop Tire Road Racing Series made its trek to the Northeast to challenge the New Hampshire International Speedway Road Course. An ice cream social highlighted the social activities for the weekend with donations being taken for the late Jimmy Whittemore who died tragically just days before the event.

Mazda Announces Major Enhancements To Ladder Series
Up-and-coming race drivers have two major challenges: winning on the track, and finding the resources to move up to the next level. Mazda is making the second task significantly easier for a 2007 champion. Mazda will provide a next-level, fully-funded ride in a Mazda powered car to selected 2007 champions of selected Mazda series.

Robert Stout finishes 2nd in Spec Racer at the Snap-On tools Stars of Karting event!

With two laps to go Robert Stout of Brownsburg, Indiana had driven his #457 Lucas Oil sponsored Motorama Kart Parts Birel from 16th place where he started, to 1st and was leading the field of 35 karts in the biggest race of his two year career!

Karam and Robinson continue domination at South Bend Zoom Nationals
WKA welcomed new sponsor Mazda to the Mazda Zoom Zoom Nationals. Race #2 of the George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup presented by Mazda is in the record books. Beautiful weather and a classy MRP of South Bend facility made the racing fast and furious. Two Junior drivers Sage Karam and Cody Robinson displayed their championship caliber skills in winning seven classes between them.

Briggs & Stratton Dirt Series Has Action-packed Weekend At Margaretsville
400+ entries converged on Margaretsville Speedway this past weekend for Race #2 of the Briggs & Stratton National Dirt Series. The weather was near perfect as the Bordeaux Dyno Cams Nationals offered some very competitive racing at this historic North Carolina track just a few miles from the southeastern border of Virginia.

Robert Stout earns first National top 10!!
Jacksonville, Fl. March 10th 2007
The World Karting Association (WKA) kicked off the 2007 George Kugler Manufactures Cup series this past weekend at the 103rd street complex in Jacksonville, Fl. The historic track is loaded with high banked turns and a long high speed straightaway. 15 year old Robert Stout entered the event in the TAG Sr. class with his new #56 Birel Chassis prepared by Motorama Kart Parts (MKP) Lucas Oil backed Hot Licks, and Torco Race
Fuels race kart. The class was loaded with the best kart racers in the country, “I couldn’t believe the big names in the class, everywhere I turned there were national event winners”! Fifty six competitors were fighting for thirty starting positions. Stout said “The last time we came to one of these events we didn’t even qualify for the final so that was our first goal.” Stout was a full second off the pace at the end of Friday’s practice so qualifying would be close.

Attention WKA National Pavement Series Competitors
WKA has been informed by Dunlop Tire Importer, Russell Karting, there is a current shortage of 11.5 x 8.00 x 6 DCS tires. Initial demand on these tires has been greater than anticipated.

Updated Class Order For National Pavement Series Competitors
02.26.07 - After receiving feedback from drivers, the Sunday race order for the Rage Karts Speedway Pavement Series has been updated.
In an effort to give anyone that runs multiple classes at least a two class buffer before coming back up to the grid, the following Saturday and revised Sunday race orders will apply beginning at the X-Caliber Winter Nationals at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, March 16 – 18, 2007.
