Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Watkins and Matusek Overcome Injuries to Finish in Top-10

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Scott Watkins and Andrew Matusek put their Kawasaki KX450F’s in the XC2 Pro Lites class top-10 during the fifth round of the GNCC series at Loretta Lynn’s in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Both riders battled through injuries on the tough track to finish sixth and seventh at the longest running track on the GNCC series schedule.

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Destry Abbott took his second win of season, while Team Green rider Josh Morros finished in second during the fifth round of the AMA National Hare and Hound in Lucerne, Calif. Abbott now has a 41 point gap in front of second place, while Josh Morros has moved into third place in the championship standings

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green Continues Winning Ways at Oak Hill

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders walked away from the GNC Final with an impressive nine championships and an 22 additional podium finishes at Oak Hill Raceway in Alvord, Texas. The event, which saw entries increase by more than 400 riders, was a huge success. Even with rain earlier in the week and threatening on the last day, the event went smoothly and even finished a day early allowing the attendees to get home for the end of the holiday weekend.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Andrew Matusek finished his first professional GNCC race with an impressive fourth-place result in the XC2 Pro Lites class during the GNCC season opener in Melbourne, Fla. After a mid-pack start, Matusek turned up his speed and posted one of the fastest lap times in his class aboard his Kawasaki KX250F.

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Destry Abbott and Team Green rider Josh Morros went two-three this weekend at the second round of the AMA National Hare and Hound in Ridgecrest, Calif. With another consistent finish, Abbott remains close to the points leader with five rounds remaining. Morros continued to show that he is the next big thing in desert racing with his second-career podium at only 16 years old.

In round 7 of the GNCC Series KTM's David Knight stood atop the podium once again.
GNCC Series - Round 7 Loretta Sparta, KY
Knight had a top five start with Russell Bobbitt and Robbie Jenks right behind him.
Knight led the first 15 mile lap but crashed and dropped to fourth. He then settled his speed for two laps and then made his move to first place. Knight then pulled away on the last two laps winning the race by over two minutes.
