AMA announces 2010 AMA Racing East Hare Scrambles Championship Series schedule

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) announced today the 2010 schedule for the AMA Racing East Hare Scrambles Championship Series. The series awards AMA No. 1 plates across a range of age, skill and displacement classes to some of the country's fastest woods racers.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Dietrich and Abbott Heat Up the Trails of Washington

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrich and Destry Abbott stood on the top two steps of the WORCS podium as they went an exciting 1-2 at Saddleline ORV in Olympia, Washington. Dietrich’s fourth win was sweetened as he reclaimed the points lead. The podium in Washington was the first for Abbott since the end of 2006, who concentrates on the AMA National Hare and Hound series. Teammate Damon Huffman finished the day in 13th.

The Shock Doctor/KTM Factory GNCC Team had a great weekend at the 7th round of the GNCC Series where XC-2 rider Kailub Russell lengthened his points lead and XC-1 rider Nate Kanney came from a dead last start to finish one spot shy of the podium.

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Scott Watkins earned his first GNCC XC2 class win of the season during a dusty round 12 at Power Line Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Watkins battled much of the race for the lead and was able to edge out the competition on the last lap. Watkins good ride finished him in seventh overall amongst the XC1 riders and moved him up to fourth in the points standings. Teammate Andrew Matusek turned out a good ride to round out the top-10.

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Taylor Robert kept his win streak alive and clinched the Pro 2 class one race early.
