American Motorcyclist Association congratulates Rocky Robinson and the Top 1 ACK Attack team for new motorcycle land-speed record

PICKERINGTON, Ohio
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to congratulate rider Rocky Robinson, builder/owner Mike Akatiff and the rest of the Top 1 ACK Attack team on setting a new absolute FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme) motorcycle land-speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats on Sept. 26.

AMA statement on passing of land speed racer

PICKERINGTON, Ohio
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) announces with deep regret the death of racer Cliff Gullett of Bozeman, Montana, following a crash on September 3 at a land-speed racing event at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Gullett, who was competing in the 500cc Streamliner class, was 47.

World's Fastest Panhead 'The Assault Weapon' Runs D&D Performance Exhaust

D&D Performance Enterprises designed a land speed racing (LSR) exhaust system for Bikernet.com's 5-Ball Racing Team, who set a new world record on their Panhead with famed drag racer Valerie Thompson at the controls.
