Yamaha Red Bull De Carli's Tony Cairoli claimed his second MX1-GP event in the space of a week to extend his lead in the FIM World Championship to 57 points - more than one Grand Prix - with just five meetings left to run in the 2009 contest. The first ever trip to Latvia took place at the Kegums circuit and saw the stylish Sicilian race to 2nd and 1st positions in two sweaty but cloudy motos and watched by 32,000 spectators.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team out in force for MX Masters, Mehrnbach

Cairoli sets career landmark with German win

Yamaha Red Bull De Carli rider Tony Cairoli notched his 28th career victory to become the most successful Italian motocrosser ever at Teutschenthal for the Grand Prix of Germany and the ninth round of fifteen in the 2009 FIM MX1-GP World Championship. The Sicilian rode to 2nd and 1st positions with the YZ450F for his third win of a debut MX1 season and also captured his seventh moto triumph from a total of eighteen so far.

KTM's Jonathan Barragan injured in training

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green Riders Continue to Set Pace at Honey Lake

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’’s Corey Floyd and Ryan Abbatoye continued their dominance of the Pro 2 class at Honey Lake MX in Milford, Calif. during the fifth round of the WORCS series. Floyd took his third win of the season and Abbatoye continued his podium run in second. In the Pro class, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Damon Huffman finished sixth, while teammate Rickey Dietrich made it through a tough day inside the top-10 in ninth. Destry Abbott finished in 13th after battling a stomach bug throughout the day.
