Coolbeth Takes AMA Grand National Twins Points Lead
Harley-Davidson Wrecking Crew riders took two spots on the podium in the AMA Grand National Twins main event at Volunteer Speedway, as Blue Springs Harley-Davidson/Screamin' Eagle rider Jared Mees finished second and Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle factory rider Kenny Coolbeth was third. Mees finished 0.568 seconds behind the winner, Halbert Family/Kings Kustoms rider Sammy Halbert. All three riders were on Harley-Davidson XR750 motorcycles.

AMA Racing/USA Speedway National Championship Series kicking off in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The 2009 AMA Racing/USA Speedway National Championship will fire off the line Saturday, June 6, when the series gets underway at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, Calif.

British rider Danny Kent exacted his revenge on Saturday's winner Sturla Fagerhaug of Norway on Sunday when he slipped past him in the closing stages to take victory in the second race for the Red Bull Rookies Cup on the Jerez circuit.
