DARRELL RUSSELL TRIBUTE HELMET AND FIRESUIT RAISE OVER $3200

CYPRESS, Texas (May 13, 2008)

The Darrell Russell Tribute helmet and firesuit worn by Top Fuel driver Alan Bradshaw during the recent O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis raised over $3200 for Racers for Christ. The custom Impact Racing firesuit sold for $1101.99 while the Impact Racing helmet netted $2126.99. Because both items were generously donated by Impact Racing, along with the custom helmet paint job donated by Brandon Mendoza, the total amount raised will go to RFC.

Tindle racing with his heart on his firesuit's sleeve in Atlanta

Former JEGS ProMod Challenge winner Tim Tindle will race for a very special cause when the tour reaches Atlanta Dragway April 24-27 for the 28th annual NHRA Southern Nationals. Tindle will banner the Alabama/Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to raise awareness for a disease that has stricken his 7-year-old niece Haleigh McRae.

The Tony Stewart Foundation (TSF) will sponsor the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) team in the 12th Annual “Fun at Fastimes” endurance go-kart race Saturday (March 15). All proceeds benefit the USAC Benevolent Foundation, which provides assistance to USAC drivers and families in need of emergency financial assistance.

3J’s Track Days Hosts Event to Benefit Needy Youth Groups, AFM Air Fence Fund in March

Ohio Valley Region SCCA gives to The JEGS Foundation

American Suzuki Donates 2008 RM-Z250 to Ignite Charity Fund Raising Efforts for the Upcoming Seattle Round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series

Seattle, WA. (February 5, 2008)

MX for Children, a not-for-profit organization, is pleased to announce American Suzuki’s participation in MX for Children’s 2008 fund raising activities. American Suzuki is donating a 2008 RM-Z250 to assist in MX for Children’s fund raising events at the Seattle round of the Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, a FIM World Championship. MX for Children will be raffling off the donated RM-Z250 with all funds raised going to Seattle’s Children’s Hospital. Harley-Davidson Daytona Women’s Day Ride Increases Count to 500

Largest Women’s Ride in Harley-Davidson History


MILWAUKEE (February 1, 2008)

On March 4, 2008, in Daytona, Fla., 500 Harley-Davidson women riders will join together in what the Motor Company believes will be the largest women’s ride in the Company’s 105-year history. Originally, the Harley-Davidson Women’s Day Ride, benefiting Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), was to be limited to 105 women; but after an incredible response from women riders asking to join the ride, Harley-Davidson decided to increase the size to accommodate 500 women.

Bench Race Winter Nationals raises funds for JEGS Foundation

DELAWARE, Ohio (Jan 31)

The fourth annual Mr. Aruba's Bench Race Winter Nationals in Ostrander, Ohio, raised $2,800 for the JEGS Foundation's Racing for Cancer Research program. Held by sportsman racer Mike "Mr. Aruba" DeChicco and Dr. Jane Graebner, the event contested a Gambler's Race, a "Pink's" style eliminator, and a 50/50 raffle drawing on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Ostrander International Raceway Park.

WKA Partners With Kids Racing For Kids

Kids Racing for Kids and the World Karting Association have developed a partnership for the 2008 George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda to help promote karting while giving back to children in need. A total of $20,000 will be donated to children’s shelters during the 2008 racing season thanks to Kids Racing for Kids.
