Ferrari World Record meeting in Japan

With 500 Ferraris at the Fuji circuit the Prancing Horse beats the World Record of the highest number of Ferraris on a race track at the same moment.
Before the very eyes of the Guinness Book of World Records' jury 500 Ferraris were at the Fuji circuit at the same moment, thus beating the record of 385 Ferraris at the track of Silverstone last year. 500 Japanese Ferrari owners met to beat the record: going on the track before the very eyes of the judges they registered a new record, which will now be listed in the "Guinness Challenge". Ferrari had a busy weekend at Fuji with an intensive program of the first driver's courses in Japan, the FXX program and five F1 Clients. As of the upcoming 1st July the Japanese market will be directly managed by Ferrari through Ferrari Japan KK.

Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum Sending 11 dragsters to England for Goodwood Festival of Speed
POMONA, Calif. (May 2, 2008)
The relationship between the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by Automobile Club of Southern California, and the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed continues to prosper. The Museum has been supplying cars to the event for a few years, according to Tony Thacker, executive director of the Parks Museum. "We took Ak Miller's El Caballo over in 2005," he said, "and last year we shipped the Mickey Thompson Challenger along with several other significant land speed record holders. This year, it's the turn of the dragsters so we're coordinating the shipment of 11 cars."

'A Tribute to American Ingenuity' honors specialty tire maker, historic speed shop
Coker Tire/Honest Charley Anniversary Exhibit Set to Open at Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, May 7
POMONA, Calif. (Apr. 30, 2008)
A special "double exhibit" highlighting the anniversaries of two iconic automotive aftermarket companies will open May 7 at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California. Called "A Tribute to American Ingenuity," the new exhibit will honor the 60th anniversary of Honest Charley Speed Shop as well as the 50th anniversary of Coker Tire. The exhibit runs through Nov. 16. The May 7 opening is in conjunction with the Museum's monthly Prolong® Twilight Cruise Night.

Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown Infineon Raceway, May 16-18
Infineon Raceway will host the top pavement motorcycle road-racers in the country at the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, presented by Supercuts.
May 16-18. This is the fourth stop on the 20-race series for 2008. It will be a doubleheader weekend, featuring 28-lap main events in the Superbike division on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. The weekend will also feature racing in Pro Honda Oils Supersport, Superstock and Formula Xtreme.
