Tony Stewart Racing to Introduce All-New Chevy Engine in USAC National Midget Car Series
INDIANAPOLIS
Chevrolet's all-new Midget racing engine was unveiled today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway by GM representatives and United States Auto Club (USAC) team owner Tony Stewart. Designed by GM Racing specifically for the USAC National Midget Car Series, the new purpose-built, four-cylinder Chevrolet racing engine will initially power Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) drivers Tracy Hines and Levi Jones in upcoming events. The new Chevy Midget engine will be available to all USAC competitors through independent engine builders.

Williams F1 today announced that it has acquired a minority shareholding in Automotive Hybrid Power Limited, a company developing high-energy composite flywheels for use in energy recovery systems. AHP has relocated from Norwich to Williams’ headquarters outside Oxford, UK and has been renamed Williams Hybrid Power Limited.

AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES ANNOUNCES LONG BEACH EXTENSION THROUGH 2013
The American Le Mans Series and the Grand Prix of Long Beach announced a five-year extension Friday.
The American Le Mans Series and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach today announced an extension to keep the world's premier sports car series racing at one of the world's most iconic street circuits. The Series competes this weekend in the Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach for the second consecutive season. The extension will allow southern California fans to enjoy the cars and stars of the American Le Mans Series through 2013.

Grump" Heads to the Hall - Interview with Bill Jenkins on his Induction into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame

NHRA ENTERS INTO STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH IMG TO ENHANCE SPONSORSHIP SALES EFFORTS FOR THE SPORT
