2007 WKA Gold Cup West Schedule

The WKA Gold Cup West series race schedule is official. 2007 will mark the fourth year of competition for the popular WKA divisional series.

This year the Gold Cup West will offers a fall series. This will allow karters to run a more relaxed schedule that does not conflict with the overcrowded Spring and Summer race schedules on the west coast. The Gold Cup West is pleased to announce the addition of several popular 2-Cycle championship classes, as well as, the finest 4-Cycle racing for 2007. The GCW will continue to run an economical single day race format. All of the venues will offer a Saturday practice date the day before the Sunday race. This will help get the kids back to school on time and the weekend warriors back to work. The first race will be held on August 19th at the historical Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside, CA. Then on October 14th, it’s off to the Las Vegas Kart Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The series will finish the 2007 season on November 18th at the Apex Kart track in Perris, CA. Apex was the site of the very first GCW event. It will be great to be back at the newly reconfigured track. We are looking forward to another great season.
