Briggs & Stratton Dirt Series Has Action-packed Weekend At Margaretsville

400+ entries converged on Margaretsville Speedway this past weekend for Race #2 of the Briggs & Stratton National Dirt Series. The weather was near perfect as the Bordeaux Dyno Cams Nationals offered some very competitive racing at this historic North Carolina track just a few miles from the southeastern border of Virginia.

Dakota Baggette won both Briggs Jr Sportsman 2 classes while Mitch Hendrix continued his dominance of the Briggs Heavy and Briggs Raptor 370 classes picking up where he left off at Volusia with feature wins again at Margaretsville.. Mitch also took home the $1000 check in the Briggs & Stratton Pro class. For Jake Perkins it was another step toward a national championship as he is unbeaten in Briggs Jr Sportsman 1 Lite winning at both Volusia and Margaretsville. The same holds true for Joseph Galloway and Troy Wagaman as they both garnered their second feature wins in Briggs Jr Sportsman 1 Champ. Click here for complete results of the Bordeaux Dyno Cams Nationals. Next stop on the Briggs & Stratton National Dirt Series will be Low Country Kartway in Aynor, SC on June 8-10 for the Comp Cams Grand Nationals. Entry blank with event information can be found on the Dirt Series home page.
