All three have scheduled test sessions later in the month. Steele’s potent Monster Energy Goodyear race truck and Waldvogel’s Bendix Toyo Tire machine both made their debuts last season in WSORR. Both racers, along with Wandahsega are also expected to contend for wins in short course off-roads racings most prestigious events – the FCP Chairman’s Cup race this coming June and the annual BorgWarner Shootout over Labor Day weekend at Crandon Raceway. “It has been a long, tough winter in the Northwoods,” said Cliff Flannery, president, Crandon Raceway. “We are glad to see the snow melt and get our track prepped and ready for our 39th consecutive season of off-road racing,” he said. “We had record attendance last season and we will try to top that again this year. We have record sponsorship at the track this year and we are grateful to the many sponsors that put their trust and faith in us,” he said. Crandon International Off-Road Raceway has been accepting reservations for track testing. The track’s web address is http://www.crandonoffroad.com. Crandon Raceway opens the racing season when WSORR brings its off-road super show into town for the Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run Races June 21-22. The weekend features the 15th annual FCP Chairman’s Cup race on Sunday, June 22. Defending Cup champion is “Crandon Carl” Renezeder. Renezeder, title-sponsored by Lucas Oil Products, sports new Ford racing pickups in two classes this season. The WSORR web site address is WSORR.com.
