KC HILITES JOINS WSORR SPONSOR LINE-UP

WILLIAMS, AZ KC Joins WSORR.jpgKC HiLites, manufacturer of the country's most well-known auxiliary lighting systems for both on- and off-road applications, has announced sponsorship of the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR).

KC HiLites will be an integral part of the World Series’ “Tour 2007” schedule, covering 14 rounds of short course off-road racing at seven venues. “We are delighted to be associated with the World Series of Off-Road Racing,” said Michael DeHaas, owner and president, KC HiLites. “We have been a long-time supporter of tracks and off-road racers on the WSORR circuit,” he said. “WSORR races in markets important to us and the national exposure on SPEED TV is an added bonus for KC HiLites. WSORR has an unmatched depth of experience and I am confident that the Series will continue to light the way for short course off-road racing this coming season and beyond,” he said. Interestingly, the founding of KC HiLites in 1970 harmonizes with the formation of organized short course off-road racing nearly four decades ago. WSORR also traces its roots to 1970 when the first off-road race of its type was held in Crandon, WI. Now home to Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, the “World Capital” of off-road racing, WSORR also has headquarters in the town. In addition to the Series sponsorship, KC HiLites has again posted a significant contingency program for WSORR racers. For example, the company has increased their year end WSORR contingency awards 33% from last year. Information about the full KC HiLites program is available at http://www.wsorr.com. WSORR offers 11 classes, ranging from top-ranked PRO teams to entry level off-road racers. KC HiLites has a long history of support and sponsorship of racers, helping them achieve championship after championship. Included on the list is Scott Douglas, PRO 4x4 World Champion and defending champion of the BorgWarner Shootout—short course off-road racing’s most celebrated event. “We welcome KC HiLites to our list of sponsors,” said Doug Davis, president & general manager, WSORR. “We have had an excellent relationship with KC HiLites for many years and we couldn’t have a more impressive and prominent off-road lighting manufacturer as our latest partner”, he said. KC HiLites is the original manufacturer of automotive off road lighting and the company has established a rock solid reputation for quality and performance. Specializing in the truck, SUV and off-road markets, KC offers a complete line of auxiliary fog lights, driving lights, off road lights, HID lights, flood lights, light bars, light covers, wiring accessories as well as other specialized lighting products. More information is available at http://www.kchilites.com. The Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing features a high speed, high impact off-road racing experience for racers and fans at key tracks in Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin this coming season. In addition to KC HiLites, Series sponsors include Lucas Oil Products, Forest County Potawatomi Community and BorgWarner Corporation
